About Brahman Bulls

The Brahman bull or brahma bull is a type of zebu cattle exported from India. They are extremely hardy animals. They can withstand more heat and more intensely arid conditions than European cattle can tolerate. Brahman cattle are also resistant to parasites and disease, and are considered to be intelligent and docile.

New plastic seagull

Hey everyone, here's our new plastic flying seagull. We ordered it for a customer, and liked it so much we've stocked it in our store. Here is what Kathy wrote when her seagulls arrived:

Sue,

Thank you again very much for taking so much time and interest in helping me out with the seagulls!!!!! They are just perfect!!! I am sure that they will be a big hit in our pirate scene for my son's graduation party. (We are expecting over 325 students to attend.) It is being held at our local YMCA which will be transformed into a pirate haven the night of June 6th. You helped me with a very important finishing touch! I hope to talk with you again soon.

Sincerely,

Kathy

The (plastic) bee and the grasshopper

No, this is not a tale of love or woe, but a warm welcome to two new critters in our animal gift shop. As usual, we like to take close-up photos that let you see what you're getting before you buy (click each image for a larger view). These two lovely creatures cooperated very nicely. For details and sizes on these two plastic insects, please see our web site. You can order online or call us at (503) 325-3179 (West Coast, USA). We'll be adding about ten more insects this week. I took the photos last weekend. Lee and I are working to get them online. Call if you're looking for something you don't see. We may have it!
