Plastic Goblin Shark

At long last, look who's back at TPF!

Our Plastic Goblin Shark

Our goblin shark is made of hard plastic and measures 3 inches. Its name is moulded into the underside. This plastic shark is great for school projects, toys, novelties, animal collections, party favors and more. You can make a terrific deep sea shoebox diorama using this and other plastic aquatic creatures and mammals, fish, and sea turtles from our gift shop.

About Goblin Sharks

First discovered in the waters around Japan, the goblin shark (Mitsukurina owstoni) inhabits waters far below the reach of sunlight, at depths of more than 200 meters. It's best known for its unique head and snout, and it's light pink coloration. Goblin sharks feed on other deep-sea fish and squid. While rarely encountered, the goblin shark has a healthy population, inhabiting a range that stretches from the Gulf of Mexico in the Atlantic, through the seas off South Africa, to the waters surrounding Australia and Japan in the Pacific.
