Plastic Piranha

At long last, we've got these popular little fish back at TPF!

Our Plastic Piranha

This piranha is one of our series of lively and lifelike plastic animals - or in this case, plastic fish. Its realistic shape and details will be enjoyed as part of a school project, diorama, plastic animal collection, as a party favor, or gift. Check out our terrific selection of plastic fish toys.

About Piranha

Piranhas (Serrasalmus) are a freshwater fish native to South American. Although they have been labeled as meat-eaters, they also eat plant matter, seeds and fruit. They are about 8-12 inches long and have a narrow body with a blunt head. Their strong jaws contain razor sharp, triangular-shaped teeth.

Happy Customer Report: Soon this plastic piranha will have a new home!

Our turnaround is so fast you barely have a chance to blink. We usually ship your order the day we get it, and we ship by US Priority Mail in the US, which means that it takes no longer to reach the East Coast than it does to reach nearby cities and towns (we're located at the far northwest of Oregon).

If the box leaves our store for the 5 p.m. mail, it reaches Portland, Oregon, sometime that night. In many cases, it's on the plane that night. Of course, we don't see the package to follow its route, but typically it will be delivered as quickly to Boston as to Los Angeles, even though one is a continent away. If you live in a peripheral, or small zip code area, it may add a day to the delivery time on your end. That's why we say that your order is "usually delivered in two to four days" from the time you place it with us. And all this is for a minimum shipping and handling fee of $6.50 on an order of $20.00 or less. A larger order will cost a little more. We use the Post Office rather than UPS, because ground shipping may take a week to travel across the country. We like quick service, and so you do you!

Kevin needed this plastic piranha and some other items for his child's school project. After some discussion with Sue (our Customer Expert) about possible deliver dates, he wrote:

Just finished up the order, Sue.

Thanks again for your quick replies and speedy service. Now it's up to our friends at the USPS.

Piranhas, anyone?

Everyone likes piranhas for one reason or another, don't we? We have two somewhat lifelike plastic piranha toys. They're made of solid plastic and they feel like a real fish! They're so rubbery, they strech like crazy. Kids will love them! This solid plastic toy fish has a rubbery feel, much like gelatin - a wonderful creepy feeling kids will enjoy - AND IT STRETCHES. It is 5 1/2 inches long before it is stretched (it doesn't stay stretched) and is wonderfully detailed and realistic looking. Our rubber-like plastic piranha comes in two colors: silver with turquoise markings (the one on this page) and yellow with green markings.

Two plastic piranhas back in the store!

We loved our plastic piranhas, and so did our customers. Awhile back they were discontinued by the manufacturer, and NOW THEY ARE BACK! Come take a look. We have these interesting lifelike piranhas in two color choices - and they are stretchable! What's more, the plastic is soft and . . . uh . . . fishlike. They almost feel real!
