Stuffed Tiger Cub

Awww! They're so CUTE at this age!!

Our Stuffed Tiger Cub

We think this plush stuffed tiger cub is exceptional. It is so lifelike and compelling, you almost won't believe its a stuffed toy and not the real thing. Although its made of synthetic materials, it looks real. Note the tufts of fur at the ears, the beautiful piercing gaze, and the delicate curly whiskers made of fine, clear filament. Each piece is hand-cut and stitched. The height (12 1/4 inches) is measured to the top of the head. Read more about Hansa stuffed animals and see our interesting selection, and come look through our entire collection of tiger toys and gifts.

About Siberian tigers

Also known as the Amur tiger, the Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) is a subspecies of tiger found in the Russian far east. This subspecies represents one of the largest cats to have ever lived on Earth, with an average male body length of over six feet and a typical male weight of 475 pounds. Siberian tigers are distinquished from other large felids by an unusually large and heavily-reinforced skull. Primary prey for the Siberian tiger include deer, wild pigs, and a small proportion of moose.

In 2005, there was a breeding population of about 250 Amur tigers in the Russian far east, with an overall population of less than 400 and declining. Intense conservation efforts to preserve the Siberian tiger have been underway for more than 15 years.

Plastic Tiger Action Figure

Whether as Shere Khan or Tigger, let your imagination roam with this wonderful toy!

Our Plastic Tiger Action Figure

Made of light-weight hollow plastic, this tiger action figure has movable head, legs and tail (the head moves forward and back). It measures 3 1/2 inches in length, not including the tail. Although it is sturdy, the pieces could possibly come loose so this toy is NOT recommended for very small children. It makes a nice addition to your big cat collection, is great for school projects, dioramas, as a toy for older kids or grown-ups, party favors, etc. To see our entire collection of action figures, check out our animal action figures page. Come look through our entire collection of tiger toys and gifts.

Plastic White Siberian Tiger

THIS 'white Russian' don't abide!

Our Plastic White Siberian Tiger

This engaging, realistic-looking plastic white Siberian tiger replica is made of somewhat flexible plastic. This replica has detailed fur and an attractive realistic pose. This Siberian tiger miniature makes for a nice pet, fits into a shoebox diorama, or serves as a great collectible. It is 10 inches long and 4 1/2 inches tall at the shoulder, with white and black fur. All the majesty and power of the real thing without the food costs! Check out our other tiger toys and gifts.

The commonly-held belief that the Siberian tiger exists with a white coat, rather than orange or rusty colored fur, is false. Tigers with white coats are not a species or subspecies on their own...the white coloration is a mutation of the tiger's natural coloration. While white-coated tigers are bred in captivity in large numbers for sale to zoos and circus-style shows, the white coloration is extremely rare in wild tigers.

In 2005, there was a breeding population of about 250 Amur tigers in the Russian far east, with an overall population of less than 400 and declining. Intense conservation efforts to preserve the Siberian tiger have been underway for more than 15 years.

Plastic Tiger

What pretty fangs you have!

Our Plastic Tiger

This engaging, realistic-looking plastic tiger miniature is made of sturdy, solid plastic. Its tail is somewhat flexible and rubbery, and its legs will flex very slightly. This replica has elaborate detail and is painted orange with the typical black stripes of all tigers. Our miniature tiger has a beautifully detailed face with somewhat orange eyes, a dark pink tongue, and yellowish teeth. It measures 7 inches from its light pink nose to the tip of its upturned tail. It appears to be vocalizing and intent on something in front of its intense gaze. This tiger can be used as a toy, kept as a collectible figurine, or added to a shoebox diorama for a school project. This tiger replica can be used as an educational toy to help children learn about endangered species and about wildlife on our planet. Check out our other tiger toys and gifts.

About Tigers

Although tigers (Panthera tigris) are so familar to us that we think they will be around forever, tigers are among the most seriously endangered of all animals. Three of the nine subspecies have already become extinct, and several of the six remaining are critically endangered. Tigers are the largest of the world's big cats. Their native habitats are in eastern and southern Asia. Tigers are carnivores, and are even feared by humans for their skill and natural tendencies as killers. They are heavy, well-muscled animals than can take down almost any prey they choose. But tigers are also a necessary part of any ecosystems in which they are found. It is important to remember that every part of the natural world plays its part. Not only are they feared, but they are to be admired. The tiger is certainly one of the most astonishingly beautiful animals on Earth, and one that has captivated human imaginations since the beginning of storytelling. Tigers may live 10 to 15 years in the wild, but can live over 20 years in captivity. The largest is the Siberian tiger, and the most numerous is the Bengal tiger. As odd as it may seem, many tigers swim and enjoy the water.
