Our Plastic Crayfish

This realistic-looking flexible plastic crayfish replica or toy is made to look a lot like a real crayfish with bendable appendages. And, IT FLOATS! This replica has elaborate detail including tiny little feet and is painted orange with black stripes on the tail and gray detailing on the back, claws, and tail. Its eyes are a beady black that reflect highlights so it appears that the crayfish is actually looking at you! This could be good if you're using it for a diorama or toy, or it could be bad if you're using it for decor at a crayfish bake! Our crawfish has distinct detailing and is 4 1/2 inches long from tail to the tips of its feelers. Our plastic crawdad makes for a nice pet, fits into a shoebox diorama, or serves as a great collectible. This crustacean is for decoration or play only. Crayfish, crawfish, crawdad

This crayfish (crawfish, crawdad) is the newest crustacean in Tapir and Friends Animal Store! It's about the size of a real crayfish, and it kinda-sorta approximates the color of a cooked one. Live crayfish tend to be the darker brown, or a little lighter than the brown showing here.

Plastic crawfish are very popular to use as table decor for cookouts barbecues (BBQs) and summer crawfish boils, bakes, or banquets. Of course, you can also use the crawfish to decorate a restaurant, or as part of a school project. Or just add it to your "zoo" of collectible or educational toy animals!

What's hot this summer? Plastic sea life is! This guy was sold to us as a lobster, but we think it makes a good crayfish, too. In either case, we have lots of them ready for shipment. They float and they're fun to play with, but they also make great party favors or decorations for your summer clam-bake or lobster feed. Or your crawfish party! Have fun with them!
