"J" is for Jaguar . . .

. . . and we DO have jaguars for you! The jaguar above is made of sturdy plastic and is virtually unbreakable. It's also light weight, because it's hollow inside.

This little plastic jaguar is smaller than the one above, and it has extremely nice detail and coloring.

We even have jaguar jewelry! You can order this custom-made jaguar jewelry in a variety of colors, and suggest a bead color, too. It comes in earrings, pendant, and pin. Order one, or order a set!

How about this jaguar action figure for something a little different? You can move its feet, head, and tail. And it's very inexpensively priced, too!

This detailed snarling jaguar model comes both in black and in the regular spotted varieties. Have fun with jaguars today. Check out our Tapir and Friends Wildlife World online gift shop! We ship around the world!

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H . . . What animals begin with "I"?

We have a number of animals in our online wildlife gift shop that begin with the letter "I." What a about this nice green dinosaur puzzle? What is it? An iguanodon! We have lots of other 3-D plastic animal puzzles, too.

There are several kinds of rhinoceros in the world, and this one with the "armored plates" on it is an toy Indian rhino plastic action figure. Real Indian rhinos have skin that folds to look like armored plates as well.

Of course "I" is for iguana, we all know that. We have lots of iguanas in our store. The iguana shown above is a small plastic Galapagos marine iguana.

Here we have a stunning painted iguana pin made of pewter and hand-painted in the USA. It looks like a watercolor or a rainbow, but it's made of sturdy metal with lacquer finishes over the paint that makes it extremely durable and long-lasting.

We even have an stuffed plush iguana hand-puppet in our online store! Come check him out on our gift shop web site! We have other iguanas, too, from small to large. Come see them all!

"H" is for Hippo, Hyena and Hummingbird

What do you know? We have a marvellous design for hyena jewelry, and you can get it in a variety of colors and three different styles: hyena pins, hyena earrings, and a hyena pendant.

Our hummingbird eyeglass holder Peeper Keepers are soon going to be a collector's item! The good news is, we still have some. The bad new is, they are being discontinued by the manufacturer and will soon be "extinct"! We recommend that if you like this hummingbird, the time is now!

Here's an interesting critter - a plastic hornbill! We have lots of cool plastic bird replicas, and the hornbill is an unusual one, which you can find in our online gift shop.

What would "H" be without "Hippo"? We have plastic baby hippos and plastic adult hippos, too. We have them in several sizes, and we also have hippo eyeglass holders and hippo jewelry. You can find them all by following the link to the baby hippo!

These beautiful, shiny hand-painted horse or pony pins are among our many, many hand-painted pins. Each one is unique. We have hundreds of animals in hundreds of colors. Please check them out!

"G" is for what?

In our online gift shop, we have a lot of animals that start with "G"! Above is a plastic golden lion tamarin - a small monkey with a beautiful golden coat.

And of course, "G" is for gorilla, too! We even have a plastic white gorilla replica or toy that can be fun for all ages above about 2 and a half years.

In fact, we have lots of gorilla toys and gifts. Please come see them all!

Can you say "gecko"? That's almost the same sound a real gecko makes. We have gecko jewelry! Take a look at this beautifully hand-painted gecko pin!

What would "G" be without an animal from the Galapagos Islands! This Galapagos tortoise 3-D interlocking puzzle is one of our most popular toys. We have a lot of other 3D puzzles, too, and you can find them from the link above. Recently we created a new page just for Galapagos animals, and we have quite a few. Check them out here on our special Galapagos Islands wild animal page!

Animals that begin with "F"

What a variety we have of animals that begin with "F." We have beautiful pink flamingo jewelry, as you can see above. Actually, they look brighter pink in our store than they do in this scan. I'll have to get a new photo online so you can see how stunning it really is!

"F" is also for ferret. We have two kinds of stuffed ferret toys, and they're both very popular.

A stuffed flea? Are you kidding me? No! We have stuffed fleas and other stuffed insects, too!

Here's our plastic fly. Don't get too attached the red eyes, though. Our new plastic housefly replicas have black eyes, although the fly is the same.

Does "F" stand for frog? Yes, I think it does. We have lots and lots of wondeful frogs in our store. They come in all sorts of colors and include many recognizable species. Come check out the page! It's fun to look at them even if you're not buying frogs today :)

This is just SOME of the frog jewelry we have in stock. All are hand-painted and hand-made in the USA by a couple of talented artists. You will love the detail in these unusual frog pins!

"E" is for Elephant, and how many more?

How about this? "E is for Elk!" We have a really cool plastic elk that's great for kids or collectors or your school project on North American forest animals. I've been lucky enough to see elk in the forests near where I live in Oregon. It's quite a thrill.

And what about eagles? We have lots of bald eagles in our online store. Here's a plastic bald eagle (above). Below is one of the several designs we carry of bald eagle hand-made, hand-painted jewelry.

Does "snake" start with "E"? No, but our emerald boa plastic action figure snake certainly does.

And what would our "E" page be without an elephant? Pictured here is our African elephant plastic 3-D interlocking puzzle. We have several kinds of elephant puzzles and many more elephants, too. Come see our collection of elephant items just for you!

What animals start with "D"?

That wasn't too hard. We have a plastic desert fox (above) and a plastic dingo (below). Both are in the dog family, too :)

I'm trying to stay away from generic names, so I'm not going to say "D is for dinosaur," but this dinosaur's name does start with "D," it's a dilophosaurus 3-D plastic puzzle. Dilophosaurus also has a lot of friends. Come see all of his dinosaur and other animal puzzle buddies!

Since dragons don't come in species (that I know about anyway), I will use a generic here and say "D is also for Dragon." We have several beautiful hand-made, hand-painted dragon pins, and dragon Peeper Keeper eyeglass holders, too! We also have other kinds of animals with the word "dragon" in their name, such as Komodo dragons, which are really big monitor lizards, and leafy sea dragons, which are very elaborate and beautiful seahorses.

This nice plastic damsel fish is another of our "d" animals that lives in the water. Hey, what about dolphins? We have those, too! In fact, we have lots of dolphins! Check them out!

"C" is for Caribou, Camel and Crab

We're doing fine with our alphabetical discoveries this week. We have plenty of "C" animals. Three of them are the caribou (or reindeer), camel and crab. Our plastic caribou (pictured above) is good for school projects and displays, and can be used as a toy, given as a gift, or saved as a collector's item for animal fans. It is nicely detailed and made of a plastic that's somewhat soft and flexible as well as being sturdy. The anlers are not dangerous because they flex.

Here is one of our beautiful camels by Safari, Ltd. It also had lots of nice, realistic details. We have other nice camels in our gift shop, too.

Crabs! We have lots of crabs. The one shown here is our 3-D Plastic Crab Puzzle. You can take it apart and put it back together as many times as you'd like. The pieces are interlocking and flexible. Have fun with the legs!

See our mammoths! Stuffed mammoths, plastic mammoths, mammoth puppet, 3-D plastic puzzle!

The Ice Age is a very interesting and popular period of time thanks to a number of recent movies and our ongoing fascination with the huge extinct animals that roamed the Earth at that time. One of the most recognizable animals from that era is the woolly mammoth. We have quite a few to choose from! If you want to give a gift or toy that will be cherished for "ages," consider giving a woolly mammoth! The plush mammoth above is a reasonably-priced stuffed animal, and satisfyingly good-sized for the price, too.

This 3-D plastic mammoth puzzle will be fun for hours. You can put it together and take it apart again. Keep the pieces in this plastic "ice cube," or store the mammoth on your shelf assembled. If you like the mammoth, we also have a wide range of other 3-D plastic animal puzzles.

This plastic mammoth is good for collections of Ice Age animals or it makes a nicely educational gift for a child. You can also use it to illustrate your school project about extinct animals or mammoths.

This stuffed woolly mammoth is a lot of fun, because it's a large hand puppet! That certainly opens up a lot of possibilities for play. Add this fine stuffed puppet to your collection. You wanted a talking mammoth? Well, you and your friends will have to do the talking for him, but what do you think a mammoth would say?

This stuffed mammoth may be the cream of the crop. It's made by Hansa, and it looks better in real life than it does here. It's a very special stuffed animal, and we love it! We love all of our mammoths, but this Hansa animal has that spark of something special, as it's hand-made with love and care! Come see all of our woolly mammoth toys and gifts! Got questions? Give us a call or write to us. Our phone numbers and e-mail are easy to find on our web site. Just follow the link above!

Now let's find an animal that starts with "B"

Here's a bull shark. It starts with "B." It's made of plastic and it's only 3 inches long. You could add it to your shark collection or use for a school project about the ocean.

No, "bird" doesn't count, but this bird is special - it has TWO names that start with "B." It's a blue-footed booby from the Galapagos Islands. Come see this bird and its many island friends!

Maybe "bear" is too easy, but we love bears, and couldn't leave out our nice brown flocked plastic grizzly bear!

Hey, here's another shark that starts with "B." This is a blue shark. I saw one come up out of the ocean one time when I was on a fishing boat. It was truly blue and quite beautiful! Do you know anyone who needs a small plastic blue shark replica? I do!
