This is the last one! The adorable stuffed donkey finger puppet has been discontinued by the manufacturer. We are sad! This soft-furred animal has been a popular item for us and one we've enjoyed having in the store. We have ONE LEFT as of this posting date. You can order it online using the link above, or give us a call toll free at (888) 325-3179. Kids love these finger puppets, but remember, it's also an election year . . . donkeys and elephants are the thing!

Hey everyone, here's our new plastic flying seagull. We ordered it for a customer, and liked it so much we've stocked it in our store. Here is what Kathy wrote when her seagulls arrived:
Thank you again very much for taking so much time and interest in helping me out with the seagulls!!!!! They are just perfect!!! I am sure that they will be a big hit in our pirate scene for my son's graduation party. (We are expecting over 325 students to attend.) It is being held at our local YMCA which will be transformed into a pirate haven the night of June 6th. You helped me with a very important finishing touch! I hope to talk with you again soon.

Beautiful climbing tree frog jewelry - pins, tie tacks - striking, gorgeous, durable, and only $29.00 each
Come take a look at our stunning frog jewelry! In addition to the pieces shown here, we also have the same style of frog in dark green with small round black spots - looking something like a toad. The frogs are cast in pewter and painted by hand. The finish is hard and durable. They will not scratch. Each frog has two pins on the back that attach with pinch-clasps so the frog will not shift position once you've attached it to your lapel, hat or tie. Come see and order our frogs online! Some of these species are poison frogs from South America, one is a red-eyed tree frog, one is a strawberry poison frog. One or two are harlequins. All are absolutely gorgeous! Click on the photo for a larger view.

This beautiful Luna Moth pin or tie tack was hand cast in pewter and painted by hand. The cost is only $29.00, and it is gorgeous! This is the stuffed version of the snowy owl (or white owl - it has many other names, too, which are listed on its very own web page on our site). Compare pictures of the real white owl here on a Google image search! Our white owl is very lifelike and compelling! It has been discontinued by the manufacturer (which seems to be the way of some of our favorite animals - like model changes in the auto or fashion industry). So, we stocked up the other day in order to bring you this owl for as long as we can. Come see our new stuffed owl!
This giant anteater jewelry comes in colors. Featuring the signature bushy tail and long nose, our stylized yet highly recognizable anteater is a symbol you can wear as a necklace (shown here), as a pin or as earrings. The necklace and earrings come with your virtually unlimited choice of bead colors in shapes chosen by our designer. For the body of the anteater, choose a color from our drop-down menu. This popular design is affordable and simple to order. Come see our anteater jewelry at Tapir and Friends Wildlife World Animal Store! You can also call us toll free at: (888) 325-3179. If you have any doubts about buying online, see our customer comments. After all these years, we're just beginning to collect them for you on our blog. Thanks for visiting!

Dear Tapir Fans and Friends,
We've just opened our first CafePress tapir store with the beautiful tapir mola design from Panama that you see here. We've put the design on 64 different products, including many styles and sizes of t-shirts, caps, mugs, stickers, coasters, pillows, underwear, note cards, greeting cards, a calendar and more. This is just a beginning! It's one more way you can help save tapirs and their rainforest and Andean habitats and have loads of fun shopping at the same time!
One of TWO plastic badgers at Tapir and FriendsFor those who like badgers, we also have a nice big, cuddly STUFFED BADGER by Hansa. And it's gray, not blue :)
Thanks so much. We received the package on Saturday and the badgers fit perfectly with what my daughter needed for her school project. And both girls are enjoying their Beanie Babies. I'm so glad I found your website.

Sorry, I basically hate punny headlines. My fingers made me do it!
The package arrived today - YIPPEE! My third grader is doing a project on the Leatherback Sea Turtle and we were thrilled when we found a site where we could buy "plastic" turtles. We are making a habitat and they are going to work out great! I will definately keep you in mind in the future as this is the first of many projects to come!

One of our most popular pieces of animal jewelry over the past eight or nine years has been this frolicking aluminum baby tapir, hand made by California artist Corinna Bechko. It comes in a selection of colors and can be ordered as a pin, pendant, or earrings. With the pendant and earrings you have a choice of any color bead you like. Corinna has an unusual collection of artistic beads. You choose the color and she'll find a style that looks perfect with the tapir jewelry. Aluminum is light weight and durable, and your creation will be a rare one-of-a-kind keepsake.

These are the parrot pins we have in stock as of today, May 9, 2008. The white streaks are not part of the pin, but are the reflection of the light I used to take the photo. The highlights emphasize the high gloss, durable finish of these pieces. Yes, when you buy your parrot, you will be able to see the eye without the reflection! These bird pins measure 1 1/2 inches tall, and are packed with detail and charm. Cast in pewter and hand-painted, they are made in the USA. The detail in the feathers is created by the relief of the cast metal and the paint that settles artfully in the lower areas of the casting, such as between each feather. At $25.00 each, these parrots are a treasure to keep or to give to a friend or loved one. Please visit our painted animal jewelry site for ordering details. If you don't immediately see the photo of these birds, never fear - scroll down and type the info into the order box. You can click on the photo above for a larger view and/or click the "Parrot" link on the painted animal jewelry page of the web site. We have MANY animal pins to choose from. They also come in gold plate, silver plate, bronze plate, and natural pewter for $10.00 each.

Hi there, our parcel arrived this morning, my little boy is SO EXCITED with all his new sea creatures, he loves them all but he's especially taken with the giant squid! Thanks for the spinner too, that was so kind of you to include that. . . . It has been a real pleasure doing business with you, I'll put another order in as soon as the sea otter with the starfish is back in stock.
I showed my children where the parcel had travelled from on Google Earth this morning, Astoria looks fantastic with all that water around you.
Thanks again for all your help and for such wonderful service,

We have two of these beautiful hand-painted hummingbirds left. We also have the same design in the cast pewter finish and plated in gold, coppery-bronze, and silver. When these are gone we can get any remaining metal-finish pieces painted. Since each one is an individual piece of art, each will be somewhat different. You an also order custom colors. See our animal jewelry web page for details.
